SURFACE FINISHES
Beyond the edge profile, the surface finish affects the look, feel, and maintenance requirements of your stone. StoneTech offers three primary finishes on compatible stone types.
POLISHED
The standard finish — a high-gloss, mirror-like surface that brings out the full depth of colour and pattern in the stone. Easy to clean and the most popular choice for kitchen and bathroom countertops.
HONED
A matte, satin finish achieved by stopping the polishing process before full gloss is reached. Softer and more understated than polished — popular for bathrooms, fireplace surrounds, and contemporary kitchens.
LEATHERED
A textured finish that enhances the natural character of the stone — particularly striking on granite. Leathering adds a tactile, organic quality that hides fingerprints and water spots better than polished finishes.

BOOKMATCHED PANELS
Two consecutive slabs opened like a book to create a symmetrical, mirrored pattern. Dramatically effective in marble and quartzite — for fireplace surrounds, feature walls, and waterfall islands.
FEATURE WALL PANELS
Large-format stone slab panels for accent walls, backsplash-to-ceiling applications, and commercial feature installations. Full-slab walls with continuous grain and minimal seaming.
STONE SHELVING
Floating stone shelves, bathroom niches, fireplace alcoves, and display ledges. Custom-cut to any dimension with your choice of edge profile and finish.
SPECIALTY CUT-OUTS
Undermount, overmount, farmhouse, vessel sink cutouts; grill and appliance cutouts; drain cutouts; decorative inlays. Precision-cut at our Medford facility.
CURVED STONE SURFACES
Curved countertop edges, curved island surfaces, and radius cuts. Our CNC fabrication equipment handles curves that aren't possible with hand tools.
